Dussehra marks the triumph of good over evil and is celebrated with immense joy and fervor across India. The festival is a time of reflection, cultural festivities, and vibrant celebrations, bringing communities together in the spirit of unity.
At IIT Hyderabad, our Dussehra celebrations were a delightful blend of tradition and camaraderie. The enchanting beauty of Bathukamma, a cherished Telangana floral tradition, unfolded as groups of 4 to 6 members creatively adorned the Mess Lawns with vibrant flowers. The atmosphere resonated with the joy of cultural expression and collaboration. Following this, the night embraced the rhythmic beats of Dandiya, a traditional dance form. Participants gathered at the area next to the mess, creating memories filled with laughter and dance.
